Set Construction for Waverly Theatre NTU

The play is based off a painting of the same name by Caravaggio. The story takes place in two time periods: Naples, 1606 and Bootle, present day. In Naples Caravaggio works to complete his masterpiece in the ‎Pio Monte Della Misericordia. In Bootle, Leon teaches his grandson Mickey about his love for art. The set, designed by Katie Stephenson, captures a snapshot of a key scene in the play.
